Just saying I got 32->33 0 gap in 10~20minutes at ongs with 100% exp buff on. Nonstop spawn rates is very great. That's the problem. You can be 70 easily if you didn't have terrible mob spawn locations

Only possible with the free 32 sun sword I got. Also got like 50 tokens if I remember

Honestly, even though you, I, and everyone else might have expected more from Silkroad-R, it's still better than the ordinary Silkroad version. Now, you might go to some private server but the way I see it, that's just the same as abandoning the ship as soon as you see the pirates.
Why give up without a fight?

I agree, Ksro was nice. However, as you said yourself, it's somewhat dead.
Every other version of the game has bots. I don't see where Fable should start to be honest :(

And hey, where is that fighting legit spirit that once roamed in this forum? Kinda miss that, lol. We don't just give up because some bots start appearing. No, we fight them and show them that teamwork and skill is more important than lvl and weapons :sohappy:

Oh, don't worry. There still are people, who have that fighting spirit and they won't give up that easily. Also maybe you quitters should give Joymax/Wemade more time to handle things. You should have realized by now that these in-game GM's essentially can't do anything, except spawning giants, doing some minor events, asking for improvements and i am sure, that's only because some higher ups told them to do it. They can't make any decisions regarding the game on their own, as they are not allowed to do so. They only report everything to the "higher ups" and the "higher ups" decide then. It's not like on most of the private servers, that the GM's also are the owners of the servers and can do everything they want. Also they still have time until lv.70 to ban the bots. Botting is completely useless, if you get banned before lv.70, as you won't get anything from it. I know it's a really big "if" and i am not sure myself, if they will ban the bots before they reach lv.70, but you have to understand that it may take some time until the "higher ups" realize, that there are bots on the server again and until they make a decision regarding that bot problem. That's how companies like Joymax work. The GM's essentially can't do much on their own, they are only like "tools" of the "higher ups".

Anyway I am going to stay on the server a little longer for several reasons. It has some nice improvements compared to ISRO and currently it also has the biggest legit community. I am not counting Silkroad Salvation or any other private server there, as it's just extremely boring, as soon as you are capped and therefore not worth playing in my opinion. On SRO-R there are at least good pt's regularly, which is the main reason, why i play SRO. Yesterday we had an awesome Sungsungs pt in the evening and after that we did a togui village run. That's why i play SRO and you can still enjoy these things, if there are bots around, as long as you have enough people to do it. Unfortunately on Azteca this is not the case anymore. I don't care that much if there are bots around or not, they are on every other SRO server too. But here we at least have a legit community and regular pts. And maybe Joymax will even give us a late surprise Christmas present in 1-1.5 weeks (That's when i expect their decision regarding the current bot problem).

That's pretty much exactly what I was saying at Vent the other day. The GM's can't do anything, they simply - as you put it - report to the higher ups.
And it WILL take some time for the higher ups to realize that there are already bots in-game.

One might argue that it's not a good way to run a game and that the GM's should have more power. And I completely agree. But that's just how it is, and we'll have to wait and see what's happening.
I'm having a great time at Silkroad-R and I can't wait for us to gather enough money to start a guild :)

It depends really. I remember back in 70cap they did had the authority to ban players on sight, but that was just purely Joymax back in the day. Now it's WeMade apart of it. Who knows what their actual authority in game actually is? The GM going around asking for suggestions the other day seemed like a nice person. Asked what improvements could be made and he said he wrote it down for future use. One thing everyone spammed for was the old job system. How will they respond? Afterall it seems like they have control over what to do with this version over isro. Now the real question is how much control? Were they given the tools to actually create content? That's the real question at hand.

In all honesty I'd rather have them add more content and changes to the game instead of bots.

Don't forget to make extra characters and get it to level 3 for the pet. Delete the character to get ~years worth of pet time.

It takes 7 days to delete a char :) But good point, though!

To the real discussion:
I agree, the GM's are nice indeed! I was in DW the other day as well, when he listened to what we said. That being said, I doubt they have any authority anymore. I know that back in the days they could ban bots on sight, but I haven't seen a GM do that since then, lol.

A guy here from SRF wrote to the GM the other day and said that he botted on two chars (lied - of course). The GM's reply was simply that he should log the chars off immediately. Nothing about ban or anything.

But one thing is for sure. The GM's are very friendly :)

Which is why I said about a year. If you did it day 1 you could probably end up a year. 4 weeks of beta first week of 4 then 3, 3, 3. Depending on how early servers go down or event ends or whatever.. then you'd end up with 10 or 13 at the most unless you delete the first character and never play on it then 12~16.

You can automate captcha codes you know. Even then that's a stupid idea. You're going to annoy the real plays equally as the botters

Ya'll see whats going on here? The original isro had a series of new servers added every few months....Genesis was created boasting a better managed game environment (for a fee. P2P)....Now SRO-R...offer promises of an even better managed game environment...These people really want players to keep on starting over having us running to each and every so called "new" development of the game...They're trying to milk us indefinitely.You don't need SRO-R to fix the problem with the game...and you don't need servers like Genesis.

Actually you do need something like sror to fix the problem. Sure you can change the game with the actual server, but you'll have people complaining. Who knows what kind of and how much control they have over this version? That's the question.

Gensis I can see as their failed project with the idea and it was as you can tell. It has like 600 users on it. Genesis could have solved with exp, but the entire idea of being pay to play was stupid. We'll just have to wait and see.

Of course they're trying to milk Silkroad. That would mean SRO2 will be better and it'll obviously grab most users from the old version and/or the current numbers have been falling nonstop which I'm sure it has. Time will tell.

It's called ctrl click or was it alt.. It fast moves from pet-> inventory or inventory -> storage. Vice versa as well. If you're making your storage neat and takes you that long then I don't know what to say.

Takes a few seconds to stack them again. Is it that big of a deal? Yes bad programming not to make them auto stack, but whatever. Elixirs do stack automatically. Have you even launched the game recently?

Takes a few seconds to stack them again. Is it that big of a deal? Yes bad programming not to make them auto stack, but whatever. Elixirs do stack automatically. Have you even launched the game recently?

Not bad programming, just overlooked. Not an issue though.
I love the stacking elixirs. iSro I had a guild storage FULL of wep elixirs along with 2 pages of normal storage. That just sucked.

I had 5 accounts filled with elixirs with all characters. Yeah. So glad it's stackable.

Overlooked.. I'll take that better than what I said. It's annoying, but whatever. Few seconds and it's stacked.

They seriously farked up some of the spawning.
Dead/Dark eye ghost in dead ravine...
Used to be a shitload, now there's like 20 mobs in the entire ravine..
Flowers are messed up too
